Built-in Automatic Antenna Tuner
Easy-to-Hear Sound Quality
High Quality Real-time Spectrum Scope
Now, a serious spectrum scope is NOT a “privilege” of high-grade models. The highresolution real-time spectrum scope comes loaded with the IC-7300. Its real-time spectrum scope with waterfall function provides top-level performance in resolution, sweep speed and dynamic range.

All that matters is the price. Will it be similar to the 7200? I doubt it. Looks like a more expensive rig. $1750???
ReplyDeleteAnd why no 2m/70cm?
Given the full TFT screen, SD card, dual PBT, and the broad band scope, I very much doubt it.
ReplyDeleteIt's the new FT-991\TS-590SG competitor, I suspect. $1500-$2000 range would be my guess.
The IC-7300 does not support D-Star.
ReplyDeleteI don't see why Icom would want to even think about D-Star on a radio that doesn't cover 2 meters and 70 cm. So far as I know, D-Star is exclusively above 144 MHz.
ReplyDeleteD-Star is available for HF, but they apparently didn't include it on this radio.
